Mira Rajput, who was pregnant with her second child, has been blessed with a baby boy. The paparazzi waiting outside the Hinduja Hospital (where Mira is admitted) managed to get glimpses of Bela Rajput, Ishaan and Neelima Azim. However, nobody from the family has confirmed the development yet. Congratulatory messages from fans have already started pouring in. Here’s what Pragya Kapoor posted for Mira Rajput.
Shahid and Mira are also parents to their elder daughter, two-year-old Misha. They tied the knot in 2015. The actor, who is currently busy promoting his next, Batti Gul Meter Chalu and has begun his prep for the Hindi remake of Telugu hit, Arjun Reddy, says he can barely manage a week’s off for his second child. He will also be seen in a biopic on Asian gold medallist boxer Dingko Singh.
Alia Bhatt, who has co-starred with Shahid Kapoor in films like Shaandaar and Udta Punjabalso congratulated the couple with an Instagram story.
Speaking to Mid Day, Shahid said that while in the case of Misha, he was off work for several months, in case of his second child, despite his best efforts, he just couldn’t do much. “During Misha’s birth [in 2016], I took a couple of months off. This time too, I was negotiating to take a month-long break, but things didn’t work out. I will get only a week off from work. It is too short a duration, but such are the circumstances.”
